East Molesey is a town located in the county of Surrey, England. It lies on the south bank of the River Thames and is situated between Hampton and Walton-on-Thames. The town is best known for being home to the Hampton Court Palace, a royal palace that was built for Cardinal Wolsey in the early 16th century and later passed to Henry VIII. Today, the palace is open to the public and is a major tourist attraction.
