Belvedere is a suburban town located in the London Borough of Bexley, in southeast London. The area was historically a part of Kent, and was developed as a residential suburb in the early 20th century. Belvedere is known for its large industrial area, which includes a cement plant and a former power station that is now used for waste management. The town also has a number of green spaces, including Lesnes Abbey Woods, a 100-acre nature reserve that is home to a variety of wildlife and historic ruins.
