Bridgend is a town located in the county borough of Bridgend, in South Wales. The town is situated at the confluence of the River Ogmore and the River Garw and is known for its historic architecture, including the 18th-century Bridgend County Hall and the 19th-century Old Bridge. Bridgend has a range of local amenities, including shops, cafes, and restaurants, as well as several parks and green spaces, including the popular Bryngarw Country Park. The town is also well known for its excellent surfing conditions and is home to several surf schools and shops.
