Crawley is a large town in West Sussex, England. Located just 28 miles south of London, it has a population of approximately 111,000 people. The town has a long history, with evidence of human activity dating back to the Stone Age. During the Industrial Revolution, Crawley became a center for ironworking and brickmaking, and in the post-war period, it grew rapidly as a result of its proximity to London and the expansion of nearby Gatwick Airport. Today, Crawley is a thriving town with a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial areas.
